Coconut oil during cancer chemotherapy improves the functional status and quality of life of breast cancer patients. Regular consumption of virgin coconut oil reduced chemotherapy side effects.
Laboratory animal studies found high coconut oil diets do not increase the risk for colon cancer.
Laboratory colon cancer cell studies found virgin coconut oil reduces the growth of the cancer cells.
Ingredients in green coconut water have anti-cancer properties.
Boiling food in coconut milk was associated with 2 times increased risk of breast cancer.
Coconut cake (25%) was mixed in the diet and given to 30 rats with chemical induced colon cancer. Coconut cake diet reduced the number of cancer tumors.
